conveyancingI recently found my old diary while I was cleaning out my parents house. I couldn’t face reading theawkward teenage years so I skipped to five years ago. I found a page with a title ‘The 5 year plan’. Be married to Zack Goodyear, own a house in Melbourne, maybe pregnant but definitely considering it if not, and owner of my own cafe. Ok so I’m not married to Zack Goodyear, I rent a place just outside of Melbourne and I definitely am not considering being pregnant. However I do own my own cafe! Not bad, one out of four! Although I am in the processing of selling the business. The craziest thing happened. Feeling fairly down about my failure at completing the five year plan I decided to speed up the process of selling my cafe and reinvest the money into a new house. I needed a conveyancer in Melbourne to help me with all the legal stuff and I needed one quick. I phoned around and arranged a meeting with a local conveyancing company. In the world of conveyancing, Melbourne has some of the best. I couldn’t believe it, you’ll never guess who was sat behind the board room table when I went to the meeting, Zack Goodyear! I couldn’t bring myself to tell him of my 5 year plan that involved him but instead lied and told him I was buying the house with my husband and we needed the extra room for our baby that’s due in 6 months! So apparently if you haven’t achieved your 5 year plan goals it is totally acceptable to just make it all up. He believed me and even sent flowers and baby clothes as a gift to me and Chris. Oh god, what is this web of lies I have spun!
